Personal Profiles

Head Office Team
Meet the team - all dedicated to the well-being and growth of your investments and everyone a contributing member of the Society.

Rob Leddington FCA, was appointed as Chief Executive in June 1999 having previously been Finance Manager and Secretary. Rob has been involved with the Society since 1995 and has an accountancy and financial services background gained with building societies and insurance companies both in the UK and overseas.

Victoria Herbert was promoted to General Manager in 1999 from the position of Head Office Manager. Victoria joined the Society on leaving school in 1987 and throughout her time with the Society has gained a wide understanding of every aspect of the business. A qualified financial adviser with a detailed working knowledge both of the membership and the Introducer network her responsibilities encompass business development in addition to the overall office management.

Jon Cox FCA, is the Society’s Finance Manager. Jon has a long involvement with the organisation, initially through the Society’s external auditors and more recently as our Internal Auditor, joining us on a permanent basis in 2002. Jon’s background is largely within the accountancy profession but with experience also in retailing and professional bodies.

Mark Herbert is our Information Services Supervisor looking after the Society’s computer and communications systems. Mark has been with the Society since 1988 and was instrumental in the changeover to our first computer system. He is responsible for maintenance and security of the software and hardware platforms used for the membership and financial records.

Phil Tustin is Membership Supervisor dealing on a day to day basis with all aspects of membership administration including policy maturities, surrender and loan requests and general membership enquiries. Phil is qualified in financial services to FPC 2 level and has been with us since 1999, coming from a background in senior management.

Debbie Newton is the Society’s Membership Administrator and, together with Phil, she also deals with membership administration, handling new policy applications, surrender payments and loan and surrender applications, as well as general enquiries from our members. Debbie is qualified to FPC1 level having joined us in 1996.
